Ladybugs, flowers and more were new this Spring in the Stampin’ Up! Mini catalog. This time I’d like to feature embossing folders and some greeting cards I made featuring these elements. One embossing folder features a mix of ladybugs and daisies. How fun!
Sweet Bugs and More
Every time I was ready to order the Sweet Bugs bundle, some part was not available, because this was such a popular suite. When I first saw it, I wanted to pair it with some retired DSP from a couple of years ago. You might remember, Toadstool Gardens DSP. I wasn’t as interested in the entire suite, but very interested to get the bundle. When I finally got it, I wasn’t disappointed, either! I’ve had so much fun making cards with these bugs, flowers and mushrooms.

Then I wanted to pair up the Sweet Bugs with the Ladybug Picnic embossing folder. I think it’s a perfect match! But the very first card I made with the Sweet Bugs bundle was the “Love You” card. Not only did I use the Ladybug Picnic embossing folder, I also tried out all the dies by cutting the images with white cardstock. I really like card!

Greet Those You Love
A couple of those bugs are just sitting around, which gave me the idea to give one a chair. So I got out my Hobby Haven DSP and my Phrases & Frames bundle.

Ladybugs, Flowers and More
Now it was time to bring out my Mixed Up Patterns DSP. I love everything about the bugs, flowers and everything else! I finally got to make a card for out TwelveTuesday stamp club group, in August.
.

I made some alternative cards using the leftovers from our August club night, and even tried this design with the Sunset Shimmer Vellum. The parade of ants always makes me smile!

Look for these Ladybugs, Flowers and More in future posts. I find myself naturally drawn to various pieces of the Sweet Bugs bundle, when I’m creating. Because life is not bug-free. Wink!
