While the May to August 2026 Catalog focus was on Spring/Summer occasions, the September to December 2026 Catalog focus is on Fall/Winter events. One suite in particular caught my attention right away, the Painted Patch. This catalog holds so many other beautiful choices, too. But since I’m trying to be very selective in my choices from the 2026 Fall/Winter catalog, I choose the stamp set, Soiree Salutations, as my first purchase. Why? Because this stamp set covers all the Fall/Winter occasion greetings without missing one of them!
Fall/Winter Greetings Soiree Salutations
My focus of selections from the Fall/Winter catalog this year was mostly on Fall and items that I could use more than just one time a year. So right away the Soiree Salutations stamp set went on my first item to buy in my preorder. This set contains greetings for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, and Valentine’s Day! And if you have the Three Banner Punch, these stamps also coordinate with this.
Because I wanted to demonstrate this in August, I designed this halloween card as a “bonus” card for those who wanted to make a Halloween card. (Not all in our group are interested in Halloween). But if they wanted to, they could make one of their desire.
The inside view of each card is essentially the same for the other three, except there is a third punched bat inside, instead of a couple of leaves. The DSP is called Spooktacular DSP (It was an online exclusive that is no longer available). The bats and leaves punches are also retired, sorry. But I used the Tab punch, Hole Punch Assortment pack, Bakers Twine Essentials pack, and a journaling pen to help embellish these cards. I couldn’t bear to toss the 1/2″ strip of DSP I cut off the bottom, so I mixed them around and glued them inside the card to give interest.
More Fall/Winter Catalog Offerings
Try your hand at making quick Thanksgiving cards to send to faraway family, using the Painted Patch suite or some Glow of Harvest DSP and Textured Tree Ring 3D embossed Very Vanilla cardstock. (Those little mushrooms are from the Sweet Bugs bundle).
Speaking of Painted Patch DSP, it’s not just for Fall crafts. I dug out my Birthday Song stamp set, again, along with some pieces from my Hobby Haven suite.
Hey, back to the Painted Patch suite . . . Here’s the sneak peek for our October TwelveTuesdaysInk group, and another all occasion card.
Combine the Fall Items with Product of the Month
I’m finding ways to use my Autumn Fields stamp set with September’s Product of the Month. Those gold embellishments, Gold Adhesive-backed Dots, coordinate with many things. I’m sure you’ll see more of them!
To focus on one suite, a few stamp sets and embellishment choices seems to be enough for me right now. I also have my eye on some other embellishments and DSP from this catalog, so stay tuned in.
