Pick of the Crop

Summer, I love this time of year! Not only because the weather is finely warm, but because it’s a season for fresh fruits and vegetables. A couple of my friends grow lots of these and even have a roadside cart in their yard. Anyone wanting what’s in season, can pick and purchase the yummy produce. June’s Paper Pumpkin Kit, celebrates the Pick of the Crop. Check out how I used my kit. And what could be cuter? It’s the little canvas market bag included in box!

Card Club Supply Bag

While this bag can hold a few cards and envelopes to give as a gift, I chose to use my bag as something to put my scissors, glue, tape, and Take A Pick tool in when I’m at card club. It can also fit the cards we make!

Pick Fruit Baskets

This kit included an abundance of leftover cutout pieces to create extra projects. Look at these cards. Take and cut up one of the envelopes inside, then see how clever you can get using the parts to make fruit crates or baskets.

Picnic Picks

These next card bases remind me of a picnic blanket, a table runner or placemat/napkin. So, I added some bread and cheese pieces. I can only imagine how good this would all taste with a glass or two of wine. Doesn’t this look perfect for an afternoon snack!

Pick What You Love

The extra pieces in this kit allowed us to switch things up a bit. I cut up a second envelope and one of the card bases to create two of these cards. Do you like French bread? I do! AND, I also love lavender. Ask my kids!

You’re the Pick of the Crop

Every subscriber has the option to purchase the add-on kit that includes four mini canvas market bags. (While supplies last). I considered this at first, but then I remembered I have Embossed Treat Bags to use. I took an alternate idea from the kit’s insert sheet and came up with this cute gift bag decoration. The canvas bag holds cards and envelopes, but so does this bag. I’ve already used the treat bags for this purpose. Use the tissue paper from the Paper Pumpkin Kit to wrap your gift before tucking it inside the bag. This bag is ready for that. Just add a little tag to complete it!
