Branching Out with Pine

From the time the new fall products were available in 2025, I was drawn to the Branching Out dies early on. Branching Out, with pine, features different sizes of rectangle dies with notched corners, which I find unique.

Dried Berry Pine Branch

Last fall, I created a berry branch peekaboo spot through this card front, because the focal point was plain and small enough to allow for the added interest. Using the Branching Out dies, I decorated the inside of the card with the die cut image and an extra scrap of Season of Elegance Specialty paper. Check out one of my past posts to see a Christmas card we made at one of our Twelve Tuesdays stamp group.

Branching Out Rectangles

Lately, I felt the need to use the Branching Out dies again, and as a result decided to them to make the inside more interesting, too. I actually, cut a handful of the Beautiful Gallery DSP sheets with these dies, so they are ready to assemble. The sentiment, in the front, I stamped using the Beautiful Motifs stamps. The inside sentiment isn’t a Stampin’ Up! product. This card is intended for sending to one of our shit-in church members.

Hooray for More Rectangles & Ferris Wheels

And because I couldn’t get enough of the Branching Out dies, I had to explore more. This Ferris wheel die is so much fun! From seeing the card project examples in the Spring Mini catalog, I became inspired to create this card. Hooray! Let’s celebrate someone’s birthday! The Beautiful Bokeh DSP seemed to be my go to DSP for using the Ferris wheel. I popped up the “frame” around the Ferris wheel on the left and glued the image directly to the card base. This simple technique gives more interest.

My March Tuesday card used these dies and DSP, too. But I used the Beach Time stamp set that coordinates with the Boardwalk Fun dies. Sad to share that stamp set is no longer available, but I’m sure you have some other sentiments that will do! We chose which color of Beautiful Bokeh DSP to use as a background for these cards. Which color would you choose?

Most of these items demonstrated here can still be found on the Last Chance list. And if you hurry, you can still purchase one(s) you like! Then, begin Branching Out with pine – needles, cones, rectangles, etc.
