July & August Stamp Club

I was too busy to post before now about our 2025 July & August stamp club projects. But they were too good not to share with you!

July 2025 Stamp Club

Julie’s Cards

To start us off, Julie hosted our group with two cards, two fun folds! This first one is a “free standing pop-up card.” I found directions on the Splitcoaststampers website and did a search. It actually doesn’t look too difficult to cut and assemble, although this takes time to create. If I try to make one of these, I will use the directions and my old papers to make a template with notes, first.

This card features the new stamp set in the annual catalog, Silly Safari. You can also purchase this in a bundle, where some of the stamps coordinate with the 1-7/8″ circle punch. There’s plenty of room on the bottom or the back of the pop-up portion to add greetings.

The second card, also a fun fold, of sorts. Start with a quarter sheet of Basic Biege for the base, Then, cut another card base of coordinating green cardstock measuring 8-1/4″ x 5-1/4″ and fold in the middle to create a landscape fold. Before attaching the green card base to the beige, make two more 1-1/14″ cuts on each side, one from the right and then left, of the front. (You can adjust these cut measurements as desired). When completed, you will have three “flaps” on the front. Glue down the 1-1/4′ flaps before adhering to the beige paper. Add DSP and greetings as desired. This card uses the Beautiful Gallery DSP and sentiments from the stamp set, The Right Words.

Then she even had a “bonus” card! What a beautiful cards created with the Textured Notes bundle and coordinating Woven Textures DSP! I also love the Crumb Cake and Coastal Cabana colors together!

Mary’s Card

Mary’s card is fun too! This is a “Z-fold” card with those Amazing Otters. This bundle has retired now, but how fun with the Pool Party card base.

Lori’s Card

I kept my card fairly simple in July, because I was at church camp with about 100 kids, 3rd – 8th grade age. I was busily getting all the crafts and supplies for the two weeks this camp runs. The card on the left features the masking technique to create a one layer greeting. The “happy hello” on the right was created the same way, only with a dimensional pop-up. I really like those reversible stamp sets, you get twice the use out of stamps inside!

I masked the area where I wanted to stamp my sentiment, just a small rectangle area below the flower stem. After I stamped the flowers, I peeled the masking paper off and stamped “Happy hello,” then I took a journal pen to draw a border around the words.

Supplies used to make these – basic white cardstock, Timeless Plaid DSP or Cute As Can Bee DSP, Petunia Pop ink, Bubble Bath ink, Memento Black ink, and Old Olive ink. I created the banner label with the Stylish Shape dies, then embellished with some now retired sequins. What stamps set did I use? Choose Happy and Natural Botanicals! If you’re interested, here’s a link to the masking paper.

August Stamping

We’re only half way through sharing the July & August stamp club, so stick with me. We had more fun!

Lori’s Cards

I hosted by surprise. Mary was called a week before we met to help her granddaughter babysit her two little ones for the week were to meet. So I agreed to help with this. I felt good to already have this project ready in June! While I was playing with the Beautiful Motifs bundle and the Beautiful Gallery DSP. I got the idea to make a shape card with the Meant to Bee dies. The little sentiment is a 1/2″ x 2-1/2″ piece of Cloud Cover cardstock. You can use a variety of embellishments. Two you might recognize are the Antique Pearls and Neutral Matte Dots. We simply punched the circle using the 2-3/8″ Circle punch. To reinforce the inside of the card (behind the front cutout) we either punched another circle or used another diet hexagon. It was crafter’s choice.

My second card came together quickly. Only because I had cut everything ahead of time. I have no idea what the name of this fun fold is. It reminds me of a double z-fold, if there is such a thing, with a belly band to hold it together. We used most of the products in the Boho Vibes Suite collection, minus the Muted Palette Dots. Cardbases are Cloud Cover, Petal Pink, and Daffodil Delight. We mounted the rainbow arcs on Very Vanilla cardstock. All the stamping was done in Mossy Meadow ink.

Mary’s Card

As I said before, Mary couldn’t join us, but she had a card for us to create. Another fun fold with the Mixed Florals bundle and the More Messages bundle! Yea! I really like the flowers in that set. I also love the Petunia Pop color with the Peach Pie color. Hooray!

The unique feature of this card is that a small 1/2″ section of the card front tucks under the inside panel (where my thumb is) to create the pop-up when out of the envelope. The DSP is still on the Last Chance list. Otherwise, this card will fold flat to mail. Such pretty colors! Thanks Mary!

Julie’s Card

Julie treated us to a fun fold as well. She called it a flip card, and gave us cutting directions. We also got to have a sneak peek (two weeks early). Unfortunately, we all need a sympathy card on occasion. The receiver of this greeting should fell very special! This suite is totally available now, called, Peaceful Garden Suite collection.

I think I’m caught up with sharing our July & August stamp club projects and what the Twelve Tuesdays Ink group has been up to this summer. As I look back, it was a lot!

Thanks for your visit today!!
