2024 December Card Creations

Happy New Year, Everyone! Even though some major holidays are behind us, I thought it might still be appropriate to share our Twelve Tuesday stamp group 2024 December Card Creations. After all, I get inspired sometimes to make Christmas cards once the holiday has past. Maybe you will, too. Some of these products are on sale as Last Chance items.

December Forest Card Creations

I’ve been meaning to use and demonstrate the Frosted Forest bundle with our stamp group long before December rolled around. But, I guess, the time was right for the proper inspiration. The Season of Elegance DSP helped me to begin creating some beautiful cards. The first photo shows one of four projects our December stamp club made.

Because of the sentiment used on the card front, caused me to choose the sentiment we used for the inside. This was a sneak peak of the With You In Mind stamp set available in the 2025 Spring Mini Catalog.

Next, view a few more cards I made to demonstrate how to use some of the other dies and stamps included in the Frosted Forest bundle. I love the Country Woods DSP with this bundle too!

December Winter Creations

Mary and I used parts of the Nests of Winter collection to make two more projects for the December stamp club meeting. Mary brought her Winterly Tree Tops bundle and pulled out my Nests of Christmas Paper Pumpkin stamp set. Mary’s card is a Z-fold fun-fold card. And mine is a bottle tag. We both picked the Nest of Winter DSP to work with – funny! But the bottle tag also features Birch Wood 3D embossing folder, Round We Go dies, Country Woods DSP, Labeled With Love Punch, Keeping Tabs bundle, Naughty and Nice stamp set, and the now retired Mini Pocket Envelope dies. When you pull the “For You” tab, the recipient should find a gift card in the fold.

The card below inspired me to create the bottle tags. This card incorporates the Naughty and Nice stamp set with Snowy Scenes DSP, and retired envelope dies. Check the “Naughty” or “Nice” box on the tab pull, for fun, so whoever receives the gift card tucked in the fold knows the exact reason for their gift! (smile)

2024 December Round We Go Inspiration

And because I love the Round We Go bundle, here’s a few more ideas where I used it. The photos feature more Nests of Winter DSP, Country Lace DSP and a sneak peak of Timeless Plaid DSP. To compliment the white daisy flowers in the plaid card, I added die cuts using the Hooray For Surprises dies.

Use the two large circle dies in the die set to create the angel body and wings. Then use the middle-sized circle die for the head. I cut about 10-12 inches of string, and tucked the folded string inside the angel body before I glued it down. Lastly, I adhered the wings and the head. It’s that simple!

Star Punch Creations

The next cards demonstrate why I enjoy using the Star Punch. We also punched the greenery with the Bough Punch. Besides the Season of Elegance DSP, we used the Nature’s Sweetness Specialty DSP. We decorated the inside of our cards with the punched stars and stamped the sentiment with the Unbounded Love stamp set. Oh, and the Granny Apple Green cardstock on the front is embossed with the Forever Plaid 3D embossing folder. The sentiments on the front are now retired from the Happy Little Things stamp set.

I hope the 2024 December Card Creations inspire you to use and create what you have to CASE these ideas, or inspire you to in your own creations.

Happy New Year!
