2024 Spring Mini Catalog Greetings
As usual, the Spring Mini Catalog and Sale-a-bration catalog are full of fun and beautiful products! Here are a few cards created using a few of thee items.
Two new products I had fun playing with, from the mini catalog, was the Hooray for Surprises bundle and the Everyday Details dies. The Hooray for Surprises contains some unique dies that allow the recipient to peel back a cutout to reveal a hidden surprise underneath. See the example below on the left. There is also another heart shape and coordinating die, attached to the Tahitian Tide card base.
I found that both the flower and tulip heart can be easily colored with Stampin’ Write Markers.
Here’s a bit simpler version of the card above that we made at our January Tuesday stamp club. I love how the flower image in Hooray for Surprises works really well with the Fresh as a Daisy DSP. The sentiment is also not hiding behind the heart on this card. And speaking of sentiments, this set has some awesome birthday greetings, too!
Cute Cows for Spring
Another set that caught my eye is the Cutest Cow bundle. I’ve been having fun with these cows, and using the Everyday Details dies, again. It’s an all occasion set, but I do enjoy the sayings, “Milk it for all it’s worth/It’s your special day.” That cow is so cute, whether stamped or punched!
Spring Sale-A-Bration Catalog
There’s nothing better than a tasty watermelon in the summer. And these melons are even better because they coordinate with the Modern Oval punch! I created a couple of cards using the punch, two different ways, with the Watercolor Melon stamp set. Earn this stamp set for FREE with a minimum order of $50.
Next, I created Easter cards with the Flight & Airy DSP and the Heartfelt Hellos stamp set. These two items can also be earned in the same manner as the Watercolor Melon set. Even though the Heartfelt Hellos are meant to coordinate with Heartfelt Hexagon punch, you can use the Modern Oval punch, too! I fussy cut birds from the DSP to use as embellishments, and dry embossed the paper with the Distressed Tile 3D embossing folder. The Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels really dress up these cards.
