As I’m typing another post, I realized I didn’t share a few With Love & Gratitude alternatives with you, using the September 2023 Paper Pumpkin kit. Time flies when you’re having fun crafting for the holidays!
Mix Up the Pieces
While making projects with my kit, I love to change up the pieces from the instruction sheet, and add a little more. As I was inspired by the eucalyptus leaves, I remembered my Elegant Eucalyptus embossing folders to give a subtle background to a few projects, while mixing up the parts & pieces. As a result, it turns out the bags are just the right size to run through the Cut & Emboss machine.
More Inspiration Inside the With Love & Gratitude Kit
Not only do Paper Pumpkin kits come with complete instructions for projects designs, but also a few ideas that you can try without using the instruction sheet. I love to make a couple of cards using the Basic White Note Cards & Envelopes and the Kraft Note Cards & Envelopes with the kit contents. You know what else? The Simply Elegant Trim works perfectly with this kit!
You probably noticed that I’ve already used a piece of the bag that I cut apart for use with the Kraft note card. And, I cut one of the small envelopes to use on the white note card.
Also, see the card on the right in the next photo? You can’t make with love & gratitude alternatives without cutting up the cardstock pieces you’re given. Wink!
Make a Fun Fold Card
Here’s a close up view of the front of that card. Again, I used the Elegant Eucalyptus embossing folders and pulled out the Blooming Pearls for added decoration. The main card front comes from bag I cut apart, but as a result, you see the outside and inside of the bag. In order to keep the front flap closed, I adhered a leftover strip of dimensional from the Welcome Inn Paper Pumpkin kit.
Here’s a look at the inside, when the card is opened. I worked with the score lines already on the bag to create this card.
One More With Love & Gratitude Alternative Design
I made a tag from a leftover side piece of the bag I cut apart. Using my Paper Snips I followed the pre-scored line while cutting. I experimented with a couple of the stickers from the add-on journal offer. Then I roughed up the edges of the tag and white cardstock, before I stuck it on a Crumb Cake card base, using dimensionals.
I hope you found some inspiration to create alternative projects with love & gratitude to give to others.
