May-June Stamp Club

It’s time to share what Twelve Tuesdays Ink has been enjoying about Stampin’ Up! this past May-June stamp club. Now that Fall is just around the corner, I’m finally finding time to recap what we’ve been up to. Since the new annual catalog launched in May, we’ve created with a variety of new products. Some can be found as online exclusives, and maybe even in the Last Chance section.

May Stamp Club Projects

Mary shared a couple of fun fold cards with us. One featured the online exclusive bundle, Mixed Florals, and the other one was a graduation card. I have no idea what the folds are called, but they remind me of variations of other cards we created in the past. The floral card reminds me of a tower card, but on the inside.

Mary’s second card was also a fun fold. I added the Daffodil Delight sentiment to the graduation card, after I got home, using the new Celebrate Together stamps. Again, I have no idea what the fold might be called, maybe a diamond fold?

Julie brought this quick and all occasional card for us to make. By quick, I mean she had all the pieces cut for us, so we basically stamped the Layered Thoughts sentiment and glued it all together. I love this kind of assembly! And it’s perfect for the man in your life. All that’s needed is a greeting inside. This card opens along the diagonal. Do you know the name for this fun fold?

I wanted us to create with some of the Florals In Bloom Suite: Pretty Florals stamp set, Sweet Blooms stamp set, Glass & Gardens embossing folder, and Happy Labels Pick a Punch. Plus, we used every one of the new 2025-2027 In Colors in some form for this card. And just because, we added one Rhinestone gem to the sentiment.

June Meeting

Here’s what we created in the second half of the TwelveTuesdays Ink May-June stamp club group.

Julie picked another fun fold for us, a step card. Between her and Mary, we never lack for fun folds! This card features the Coneflower Celebrations bundle and the Cloud Cover DSP. The navy DSP has since retired. I couldnlt resist adding a little navy ribbon to my card. Embellishments are so fun!

Mary designed a cute little card using the Darling Dinos bundle. They’re adorable! We got so carried away coloring, that we colored the inside of this card too! It’s easy with the watercolor pencils and blender pens.

My June Cards

I had the pleasure of preparing two cards for our group. The first featured the Sunrise Sailing hybrid embossing folder. It’s a popular item and is on backorder, but keep watching in the online exclusives section for it’s return! We practiced our sanding techniques with the white core paper. This one is Azure Afternoon. We also roughed up the edges of the blue paper to add more interest. And finally, we made a sentiment using the Tags to Go bundle and the Pack Your Bags Twine three pack. Check the Last Chance section for these.

While playing with the sail boats, I had to share some other card ideas that were floating in my mind.

The second card I shared with the group used the Notes & Totes bundle and Beautiful Bokeh DSP. This beach bag will actually hold a note, gift card, or whatever else you can think of to stuff inside. I love the simplicity. No, this is not a fun fold, but a 3D card!

I always make some other examples showing different ways to use the Stampin’ Up! products. Here are some. I especially like that Stampin’ Up! annual catalog inside the free-standing beach bag. I made this beach bag the same colors as my Stampin’ Up! bag that I pack for club night, complete with a Stampin’ Up! catalog. Yes, I travel with my catalog, regardless if it’s club night or vacation. Don’t you?

Time to wrap up this session of May-June stamp club happenings. After all, I need to post July and August creations, too. I hope you liked all the inspiration.
