Hello Paper Pumpkin crafters! Our April 2025 was a beautiful kit, and the alternate ideas I have for you today use very few of the exclusive stamps from the original kit. So, for those of you who are still looking for ideas, this is for you. Hugs to Inked Occasions!

Mom and I made these cards according to the instruction page in record time. Quick and cute!
Hugs to the Envelopes Inside
One of the first things you notice when opening the kit, is how pretty the envelopes are. I invite you to cut one up and use it as a card front. Then embellish it! I’m a fan of the Pool Party color. In fact, when you rummage around my craft area, it’s common to find retired ribbons and strings of this color, along with cardstock and DSP, of course. I die cut the word “hugs,” a tag, and leaves from the envelope flap using the coordinating dies. You will see the tag and leaves on other cards.

I also dug out my gold foil papers, then I die cut more leaves, flowers, and tags. (Why am I not using gold foil more? It’s so pretty!) Some pieces for this card and others. Look, no stamping!
Inked Occasions Card Base #1
Truth be told, I actually created these cards last. You see a wide variety of Stampin’ Up! products used here. And the best part is that they are still available! Keep reading to the end and check out the products list. Again, no stamping done, yet. Other than putting my “@ Stampin’ Up!” on the backs, the insides remain blank.

Hugs for Cardbase #2
More hugs to Inked Occasions. Besides the envelopes being so beautiful, you’ll find the card bases front and back are just as beautiful! Like #1, I cut card base #2 in half along the fold line to make two more cards. I also used some more die cuts. One die set is now available in the new annual catalog, May 2025-April 2026. And the other die set was meant to coordinate with January – March Paper Pumpkin kits. My apologies this set is no longer available, but I’m sure we can find some bees or butterflies somewhere else in our stashes.

The card with the Highland Heather base is very artsy, but I love it when a collage image in my mind, can be translated and my card looks like that image! I have yet to try creating a fault line card, but I’m reminded of this in a reverse way. The diecut leaves and flowers were cut from each colored side, and I stamped what I wanted in the remaining white center after I tore the unwanted bits off. I really like how the mesh gold ribbon fills the top space.
Twelve Tuesdays Hint: Use tear “n tape when adhering the cardstock over the mesh ribbon.
Last of the Inspirations
Again, I cut card base #3 in half, then in half again, and even cut one piece one more time. This allowed me to create four cards! The big die cut image in the kit was so cool, that I wanted to get as much mileage out of it as possible, so I cut that into three pieces. Here are two cards from the front half. See what I mean, by finding some butterflies in your stash (or purchase more from my online store, WINK)!

The last two cards have a clean and simple look. Remember the card at the beginning of this post using the dies from the new annual catalog? The “sending my love” card incorporates another die from this set. The bonus is that the leaves from this flourish match the leaf pattern from the Paper Pumpkin die set! Those dies look like they could be from the same set, but they aren’t.
