Life is certainly sweet with the 2024 June Paper Pumpkin kit! Cheerful and fruity greetings created in the spirit of the 2024-2026 In Colors: Pretty In Pink, Shy Shamrock, and Peach Pie. I’m sharing a few more ideas for those of you who may need some alternate project inspiration to use it up!
Certainly Sweet Cherries
One way I like to create alternate card designs from my Paper Pumpkin kits is to mix up the elements. This means that I use the pieces from the kit but not as the instruction sheet suggests. For my sweet cherry cards, I cut apart one leaf die cut and a background piece. Another easy thing to do is to fold the card base into a Z-fold, to give more interactive interest for the receiver. Behind the “sweet friend” card cherries you’ll find the sentiment from the Courage & Faith stamp set. The sentiments fit easily in narrow spaces due to the design.

Life is Certainly Peachy Keen
Again, the peach card on the left is a Z-fold style and the Courage and Faith sentiment is stamped behind the fold. With the card on the right, I cut some of the leaves from a larger die cut piece. And I dry embossed the vellum background using the Textured embossing folder, because it mimicked the pattern on the card base. I also use the coordinating dies, Thanks & Beyond, to help create these cards. The dies and embossing folder may be retired already, sorry.

When Life Gives You Lemons . . .
When life gives you lemons, make some more greeting cards! The card on the right uses the leftover leaves after making the peach card. I believe I used less pieces to make the card on the right. In other words, I simplified it from the original design. It’s just as beautiful!

Sweet Shy Shamrock Congrats
I pulled a piece of Shy Shamrock cardstock from my stash to create this card. I plan to use it as an anniversary card. The monochromatic color is striking against the glittered congrats!
