Hello fellow paper crafters! It’s been a while since I’ve shared what our Twelve Tuesday Club has been busy creating. So, I present to you some Twelve Tuesdays Club Creations! This is my chance to share what some of the projects from our Tuesday club hosts created and brought for the rest of us to create. We’ll start from the most recent and work back to last Fall.
January Club Creations
I teased Julie last month that I don’t need to make fun fold cards because she always has some for us. These card creations utilized the Biggest Wish, Nested Essential dies, and Grassy Grove stamps and coordinating die set. The card on the right also has DSP from the annual catalog, called Earthen Elegance.
But I must admit Mary also likes to bring fun fold cards for us to make, too. We enjoyed using her Bee My Valentine bundle and some Bee Mine DSP to make this card. What a cute gatefold card!
We also made another card last month with the Hooray for Surprises bundle.
More Twelve Tuesdays Club Creations
As I was trying to remember all the cards we made this past fall, I kept remembering more. So none of these next card creations are in any particular order of month or by host creator. However, the first two cards Julie prepared for us to make. One card uses parts from the Earthen Elegance Suite and the other Let’s Go Fishing Suite.
One of the cards in the next group was also made from the Earthen Elegance Suite, and the monkey fun fold created from the Little Monkey bundle. Making both of these card designs were a first for me. I’m pleased with how they turned out. And if you’re interested in seeing a sympathy card we created recently, CLICK HERE.
Next are more of Mary’s fun fold cards. We made a Supremely Awesome pizza chef. Color the images as you like.
And I think you can figure out how we “built” a snowman. The card base measures 4″ x 12″ and is folded in thirds. If you choose, you can use your scissors to round the corners of the card base. I do not remember which stamp set the sentiment came from, but I can tell you that we used the Petal Park Builder punch to make the flower that adorns the hat and “carrot” that makes the nose. All the rest of the pieces were punched from a small circle punch or hand drawn with a Black Stampin’ Write marker. Oh, and one more technique we used was to add cheek color with a sponge dauber.
One Snowflake Creation
With one exception, this next group of cards is for the birds. So, let’s share some things about the snowflake birthday card, first.
I pulled out all the snowflake stamps and blue inks that are currently available to make this one. Some of the the snowflakes and sentiments come from the Season of Chic stamp set. Other stamp sets used are Snow Crystal and Sparkling Snowflakes. We inked the stamps with Balmy Blue, Tahitian Tide, Orchid Oasis, and Starry Sky. To embellish the sentiment we cut some 2022-2024 In Color Baker’s Twine Pack and added one Rhinestone Basic Jewel.
Twelve Tuesdays Is For the Birds
And speaking of blues, the For You card base is Boho Blue. Besides the cardstock, we stamped the Bird’s Eye View bird with Boho Blue ink. The smallest bird fits very nicely in the shape punched with the Modern Oval punch. In order to add more interest, we made a banner with Balmy Blue cardstock, used Countryside Inn DSP, Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack and Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins.
Jenny also had the idea to use the Bird’s Eye View stamp set at the same meeting I did. We just laugh when that happens! I love how she thought to incorporate the Bright & Beautiful DSP and Biggest Wish stamp set. We colored the focal point with coordinating inks and Stampin’ Blends, then adhered to coordinating cardstock, Fresh Freesia and Berry Burst.
For our last card, we do have something to crow about! If you don’t have the Hey Chuck bundle, consider adding it to your collecton. We colored the stamped images with colored pencils to match the Balmy Blue DSP (retired). Chuck is such fun colors!
I’d better end this post because it’s long enough. But you can tell we’ve been having a blast at our monthly Tuesday meetings! Stay tuned for more Twelve Tuesdays Club Creations.
