Exploring New In Colors

In May, our Paper Pumpkin kit focused on an outdoors theme that included all the 2023-2025 In Colors. I must admit these muted colors didn’t really thrill me at first. But seeing these colors used in the Paper Pumpkin card projects changed my mind about them very quickly. Allow me to share my experience with exploring new In Colors.

Exploring In Color Scenery

All the card bases, fronts and backs, inside the May kit were one continuous scene. And there were three designs of card bases! That’s right, nine 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ pieces of scenery! They just screamed to me, “Cut us apart, so you can make more cards with these pretty scenes!” So I listened! I wasn’t alone in this thinking, either, my mom (I usually share my kit with her) and other demonstrators thought the same. Let me share more. My mom always has to add a deer that she cut from the Grove dies. But, it’s a perfect addition!

New In Color Envelopes

Even the envelopes sported a lot of In Color scenes. I, of course, cut my envelopes apart to create more cards. Not only does this kit make great masculine cards, but beautiful feminine and all occasion greetings, as well!

More In Color Adventures

I feel I could keep going with creating cards from this kit. And, if you run out of card bases, There are some awesome stamps in the kit that you can use with the add-on kit. Paper Pumpkin add-on kits are always available until the supply runs out. So, if you are a subscriber, you are eligible to purchase these. There are 18 cards and envelopes of three designs in the add-on. I must confess that I haven’t made more cards yet, but I did create some bookmarks. Take a peek! Using the Tailor Made Tags dies, I can create three bookmarks from one card base. This bookmark is meant to hold two different places in your book.

Before I leave you today, I actually created 13 greeting cards from three card bases and three envelopes in this kit. Here’s the last one I want to share with you. I promise!
