Because of our monthly stamp club is how the blog, Twelve Tuesdays Ink, came about. And to honor all the wonderful Christmas card creations we’ve made this fall so far, I’ve put together a stamp club Christmas sampler for you to enjoy! Let’s look at them a little closer.
Stamp A Christmas Barn
Karen shared her Christmas Barn Bundle card with us in August. She had many of the pieces cut and ready to color with watercolor pencils, then we assembled it. So this project came together rather quickly. It’s truly the most wonderful time of the year!
A Sample of Snow
Mary shared the All Bundled Up stamp set with us in October. Her original design was a bit simpler, and instead of the Snowfall Accents Puff Paint, we had the option to add a little sparkle to the moose hat pompom. Again, most used watercolor pencils to color the moose, but I assembled my card later and decided to use the blends markers.
November Samples
Julie likes to challenge us with different techniques, for which I’m glad! I don’t always have the energy for them because I tend to like simpler style projects. In November, she shared a gnome card. This is my first card made using designer series paper (DSP) strips to create a “twisted ribbon” card. The card features the Kindest Gnomes Bundle and the coordinating Storybook Gnomes DSP. In September, Julie also shared a “corner flip” card with us that used the Perched In A Tree Bundle, but I think I gave that birthday card to my sister-in-law. As a result, I can’t show you.
I also shared a card in November, using the Decorated with Happiness stamp set. The stamps come in a bundle, too. Click HERE to see another cord I made with dies. We just had fun with the “two step” stamping technique and adding a couple strips of the host reward paper from the Celebrate Everything DSP. We stamped sentiments from the Hope & Peace set.
More Christmas Samples Coming
I have a couple of projects ready to share with the group meeting in December. This tag isn’t a Chistmas one, but there are definitely elements in the Celebrate with Tags Bundle that could make some. Just tuck a gift card inside the tag we will make and hide it in a card, tie it to a gift bag, or however you choose to give it. The Christmas card we’ll be making features the Ringed with Nature stamp set. If you’re wondering which ribbon is used on the card, it’s called White 3/4″ Frayed Ribbon. This set comes in a bundle too, Ringed with Nature Bundle, so check it out! The best thing about both of these bundles is that they will be carrying over to enjoy with the 2023 January to April Mini Catalog promotions. Yay!
I hope our stamp club Christmas sampler gave you some ideas to create your own Christmas greetings. Well, that’s all I have for you today! Happy crafting!
I love that you are showing creations from card club!! So fun to see what your friends come up with! Hope you will continue to do this when you’re able!!
We have a talented group and it’s always fun!
