Basket of Blooms or Fruit Basket?

The Basket of Blooms stamp set has intrigued me because it coordinates with the Small Bloom Punch that I acquired last spring. This stamp set has no sentiments. And I debated whether to get the set, because I like to have sentiments along with the stamp images. But then, the Sweet Strawberry stamp set helped me to think about using the Basket of Blooms set in a different way. Both of these stamp sets have one thing in common, they coordinate with the Small Bloom Punch. As a result, it also got me thinking about the Garden Shed stamp set. There are potted plants and sentiments which all work perfectly together with the previously mentioned sets. The two cards I am sharing use all three stamp sets, and ironically, neither uses the Small Bloom Punch! So, you decide, do I have a Basket of Blooms or a fruit basket?

Strawberry Plant Pot

One of the first times I saw the strawberry plant image, it reminded me of when I went to buy my own strawberry plants for my garden. This card looks just like those plants I bought and my dreams of eating that fruit every June. The garden pot image is very easy to stamp, fussy cut and glue into position. I used leftover designer series paper from the Sale-A-Bration catalog. The sentiment is from the Garden Shed stamp set and is so appropriate for this card!

Fruit Basket

Once all the plants are in the dirt, a harvest awaits! Some of the fun of gardening is to be able to share your harvest with others, and this basket holds that bounty. Just like the garden pot, the basket from the Basket of Blooms set is also easy to stamp, fussy cut and glue into position on the card.

Whether you think I have a Basket of Blooms or a fruit basket, I think we can have them both!
