I always love a good cup of coffee, cookies, chocolate, and once in a while a cocktail. But when it comes to family and friends, I love you more than that! Here are samples of Valentine cards I made to give my friends in our monthly stamp club, using the Nothing’s Better Than bundle and some free Designer Series Paper (DSP) that you can earn, now until the end of February.
Better Than Cookies
I made the cookie cards layout the same to coordinate with all four colors in the Oh So Ombre DSP. Crumb Cake, Early Espresso and pink cardstocks work well with the print and colors of DSP. I also used Early Espresso and Crumb Cake inks to stamp.
More Than Coffee
Here’s the coffee version of the same layout. I used the fine-tip glue pen to adhere the words. Hint: After using the pen, rinse the glue out of the tip with water. This keeps the tip from clogging.
All four Nothing’s Better Than Coffee or Cookies cards were made with just two sheets of DSP because the reverse side of the sheet has a different color. Learn more about this paper, below. The pattern side of the Oh So Ombre DSP compliments really well with this stamp set. It’s so easy to do two-step stamping with this set, too. Try making some cards of your own!
