His Love Stamp Set

I admit it. I collect cross stamps and I have many different styles of crosses in my stash. But I fell in love with the bold lines of the cross design in the His Love stamp set and lends itself very well to using the simple stamping technique.

Faith – Simply Stamped

Here’s a simple stamped card. Stamp images onto white cardstock using the black Memento ink. Use blender pens (or what you have) to color the cross and bookmark. I used the Subtle embossing folder to give Pretty Peacock cardstock some texture, then glued to the Seaside Spray card base. Option: Skip the embossing step, to make the project easier. To complete the card, I glued the stamped piece to the center of the Pretty Peacock paper. This will make a quick Get Well or encouragement card, when needed.

Rejoice – Step It Up

Even though it was the cross that attracted me to this stamp set first, the first card I imagined making was a thanksgiving card. And not necessarily a Thanksgiving Day card, because every day we have a reason to rejoice and be glad.

Giving Thanks

Funny story – I ordered Seaside Spray cardstock twice in a row recently. It’s a good thing I really like this color! Have any of you ever done this before? I’m usually a bit more organized with my orders, but one day I was cleaning “my corner” and found the unused pack under a pile, just after I submitted another order for more Seaside Spray cardstock. Let me tell you, it’s quite a feeling. Heehee! So all of the cards in this post use this color as a base. I like how Cinnamon Cider and Seaside Spray look together.

Step It Up More

Here are a couple more ideas, still using the simple stamping, but embellishing with some embossing folders, punches, and more.

Love Never Fails
Blessing

Both of the these cards utilize Soft Seafoam cardstock in combination with Seaside Spray. “His Love Never Fails” is stamped with Highland Heather ink. The color combination leans toward an Easter feeling. The “Blessing” card uses Seaside Spray and Soft Seafoam inks and some Rhinestone Basic Jewels. I will probably use this card for a thinking of you, thank you, or birthday, but not sure yet. Multiple embossing folders, punches, and dies were used between the two.

Contact Me, if you’re interested to know more details/measurements for any of the ideas you’ve seen here. My hope is that these cards have inspired you and given you a starting point to use the His Love stamp set, too.
