A Fancy Whale Punch Art Celebration

Whale, Hello! Stampers! Because I have been enjoying the Whale Done! suite so much, I had to pair the whale punch with the Celebration of Tags stamp set. This set has a whale image that compliments the whale builder punch and also fits perfectly inside the Label Me Fancy punch. When you put all three things together, you get a fancy whale punch art celebration! I love whale puns and play on words. They always make me smile. This little whale is greeting us, “Hello!” and is just right for our Tuesday stamp club. We will not be physically meeting this month, and whale punch art and Celebration of Tags pieces will be easy to send via snail happy mail.

Whale Punch Art

Punches are an easy way to add some WOW! details to your paper projects, without having to own an emboss/die cutting machine. The whale builder punch comes equipped with details to make a 3D whale, including the water spray! How cute! Examples in this post show the whale only swimming one way, but it’s totally reversible, so you can make him swim the other direction. Since the little whale from the Celebration of Tags is swimming to the right, my punched whale is swimming to the left, just as if they were passing each other in the current.

Celebration of Tags

The Celebration of Tags stamp set coordinates with other products in the catalog, too. The little zebra is ready to party with the Zany Zebras set, the fancy roses will compliment the Fancy Phrases set, and the sentiments also coordinate with other stamp sets like Pattern Play and Pallet Thoughts. If you’d rather die cut, instead of punch, there are even matching dies to use with this stamp set.

Tags with the Label Me Fancy Punch & Label Me Lovely Punch

The small whale image, from the Celebration of Tags stamp set, is the perfect size to use with the Label Me Fancy punch. The label can be stepped up by also using the Label Me Lovely punch. I’ve trimmed the Label Me Lovely punched paper with a scissors in some of the card examples. But don’t stop there! Get out your embossing/die cutting machine to die cut some shapes and dry emboss a background for your whales. Here are some examples.

One More Idea

Before I put these punches and stamp set away, I hauled out my Big Shot and Perfect Parcels dies. I’m going to make little boxes and stuff them full of water balloons, for the grandkids. I only found one balloon for the photo, so I think I will need to get more balloons to fill the boxes!

Whale, good bye! Stampers! Enjoy your day!
